Little Island Public Park Address, Hours, Location

Little Island is a free, public park in Hudson River Park, New York City. It is an artificial island park designed by Thomas Heatherwick of Heatherwick Studio. It is located at Pier 55, west of Manhattan, New York and opened in 2021. It covers 2.4-acre that is supported by 132 pot-shaped structures, called “tulips”, that float above the water. The tops of the pots range from 15 to 62 feet above the waterline. It is part of Hudson River Park on the west side of Manhattan and looks very stunning.

The cost of park is $260 million funded by Barry Diller and Diane von Furstenberg, with additional support from NYC and NYS. Little Island is a nonprofit venue that welcomes everyone with free entry. It is open every day from 6 AM–9 PM. It is one of the most visited public park in New York and mostly crowded with tourists.
